Door Hanging

For this example we are just going to use a typical scenario, where we are replacing old doors for new. We generally fit 3 internal doors in a day complete with all door furniture, as long as the frames are sound and not twisted and the frames are plumb. So the example below is to supply and fit 3 new internal doors (oak laminate doors as they are the most popular by at the moment) complete with all handles, hinges and catches.

The quote as always will be broken down into 2 main areas

  • Number of labour days needed to complete the work

  • Materials needed to complete the work

So for this example we will need the following

  • 1 Labour Day

  • 3 Internal Oak Veneer Doors

  • 3 Internal Door Handles

  • 3 Door Catch and Strike Plate

  • 3 Triple Packs of Door Hinges (Due to the weight we have found the 3 hinges per door works the best for extended life operation with the door dropping)

  • This would all add up to £660

All prices are relevant as of 22nd November 2023

Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes/Media Units Etc

I am just going to outline what to expect from us if you do want a quote on either of these services or anything else within the home, we do offer a very wide range of services for internal joinery and every single situation is unique to that customer (and as such is impossible to provide an example quote for) but what we can tell you is that for bespoke built wardrobes prices usually start around £1500 and for media units it can be a little cheaper usually around the £1200/£1300 mark these are only very rough and basic prices and by no means meant as a reflection of what your particular project will cost, but I feel it is only fair to try and give people some idea what they could be paying.
